Alvin is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Coastal Adaptation Lab. He uses social-ecological systems thinking as an entry point to study how global and local drivers of environmental change create multiple impacts on coastal systems and littoral communities. His work also focuses on how legislative and policy arrangements related to coastal area management could enable or constrain coastal adaptation.
