
Christina Bollo
Post-doctoral Researcher with the PICS / Built Environment Project
Christina Bollo is an Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois. Her research and teaching focus on the social, economic and environmental ramifications of housing design. She is committed to mitigating the built environment’s role in climate change by designing and retrofitting energy-efficient housing that people will choose to live in, sited in communities dense enough for walking, biking and public transportation. She is a licensed architect in Washington State and maintains a small practice focusing on low-rise, deep-green residential development.
