
Emily Doan
Master's Student
Emily hails from Burnaby, BC, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation (major Global Perspectives) at the University of British Columbia, where she graduated with Honours. Throughout her degree, she has worked for Environment and Climate Change Canada and Parks Canada as an interpreter, a field technician, and a policy officer. She hopes to integrate her background in conservation and geographic information systems with EMRG’s renowned research in energy-economy models. In her spare time, Emily can be found hiking, reading, or practicing karate.
