Graham Wilson

Master’s student

Graham completed his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in December of 2018.  After having worked in several of Saskatchewan’s hydroelectric facilities during 2015, Graham developed an interest in energy, energy optimization, and sustainable development.  Since then, Graham has briefly experienced several fields, including manufacturing, mining, and fluid power systems.  Ultimately, Graham’s interest in sustainability and effective energy use led him to Victoria where he began his MASc with Professor Curran Crawford in 2019 focusing on electrifying transport vehicles and quantifying the economic and environmental benefits of doing so.

Graham spent 4 years competing with the University of Saskatchewan Track and Field and Cross-country teams, and still loves to run competitively.  He also enjoys biking, hiking, and downhill skiing, and is excited to experience Vancouver Island as much as possible during his studies.
