Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
Kevin is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria where he began working with Dr. Basma Majerbi and Dr. Michael King in February of 2021. His current research focuses on the impact of risks related to climate change on the financial sector and the economy as a whole. This research is of particular relevance for institutional investors and central banks.
Kevin earned his doctorate at Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) in Economics. His thesis, titled “Essays on US Business Dynamics” focused on the decline in the US start-up rate and its implications for aggregate R&D and productivity.
