Mina Rouhani

postdoctoral fellow at Laboratory for Alternative Energy Conversion (LAEC), Simon Fraser University

Mina is a postdoctoral fellow at Laboratory for Alternative Energy Conversion (LAEC), Simon Fraser University. She is working on the development of a thermochemical mobile energy storage system to transport waste heat from industrial sources to district thermal energy networks.

Mina completed her doctorate in Mechatronic Systems Engineering at SFU in 2019. Her PhD thesis focused on the characterization, modeling, development, and experimental study of sorption thermal energy storage for sustainable heating and cooling. Her research interests are analysis of renewable energy systems, development of thermal energy storage systems for energy transportation and residential applications, sustainable energy storage and management, clean, low-carbon heating and cooling technologies, and sorption heat transformer and storage systems.
