Mr. Tony Lemprière is Senior Manager, Climate Change Policy in the Canadian Forest Service of Natural Resources Canada, Government of Canada. He has a M.A. in Economics and a M.Sc. in Resource and Environmental Studies. His responsibilities include mitigation analysis – working with carbon scientists and provincial and territorial governments to analyze the potential for Canada’s managed forests to contribute to climate change mitigation. He is also responsible for forest-related issues in the international climate change negotiations under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
