PICS Scholars will once again gather in person for the annual PICS Forum Thursday, Sept. 22 and Friday, Sept. 23, 2022.

The forum is a career-enhancing event that builds essential research skills, drives collaboration and encourages networking. PICS Scholars are undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students working on PICS-funded projects. Most attend our four partner universities – UVic, UBC, SFU and UNBC.

This year’s forum will be in person for the first time since the pandemic began (masks are encouraged). It will focus on how to integrate climate justice into the students’ research activities, and support them in integrating justice into their work throughout their careers.

The forum will be led by PICS alumnus Dr. Sonja Klinsky, associate professor at the School of Sustainability, College of Global Futures, Arizona State University.
