FutureGrid: BC’s Energy Options in a Changing Environment

FutureGrid fostered informed debate among energy experts, climate change researchers and the public over whether BC should expand its electricity production and become a major energy exporter, as laid out in BC’s Clean Energy Act.

Decoding Carbon Pricing: Achieving a Low Carbon Society for BC

Around 250 people attended the "Decoding Carbon Pricing" forum, which heard from a wide range of climate change experts and policymakers from government and the business, academic and NGO communities. This event marked the launch of PICS' new, annual forum series on climate change topics, created to provide a venue where controversial issues can be examined critically and policy approaches explored.
