Climate change is impacting people, ecosystems and communities across BC, the health and stability on which we rely for clean air, water, food, safety and security, and which are essential for good health and well-being.
The Making the Links 2018: Climate Change, Community Health & Resilience symposium, hosted in partnership by PICS, SHIFT Collaborative, Interior Health and Simon Fraser University, will feature two days of learning and strategies for collaborative action with other community and sector leaders to discuss these issues. Participants can expect to experience a range of inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, community stories and cross-sector dialogue. The event will uncover shared approaches to climate change that not only protect, but also improve community health and well-being.
