As the Business Development Officer at Ocean Networks Canada, Kunal Khandelwal brings more than 10 years of strategic partnerships and business solutions experience to the Solid Carbon project. 

With an MBA in Sustainable Innovation from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, he loves working at the cross-section of marine technology, business and innovation. On the Solid Carbon project, Khandelwal is part of a two-member team that is leading the investor and stakeholder engagement at both national and international levels.

Khandelwal is also working on Ocean Networks Canada’s strategic goal of supporting ocean-based carbon dioxide removal solutions by leveraging its large-scale infrastructure for measuring and monitoring, which are an important component of measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) of carbon removal.
