
Sara Nawaz
Postdoctoral Researcher
Sara is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oxford University’s Institute for Science, Innovation and Society, and also at the University of British Columbia, where she contributes to Solid Carbon’s research on perceptions of ocean-based carbon capture and storage.
Broadly, her research examines how public groups perceive the risks and benefits of new climate technologies and aims to inform the responsible governance of these. Sara holds a PhD in Resources, Environment and Sustainability from the University of British Columbia and has also studied the societal and ethical dimensions of emerging forms of agricultural biotechnology.
