Watch this Lightning Talk presentation by UBC student, Eric Nance from the PICS Wildfire and Carbon project.

Researcher Eric Nance from the PICS Wildfire and Carbon project explains why better quantifying the amount, and types, of wood fibre being burnt in slash piles in BC, can support a more sustainable way of managing forest ecosystems, as well as contribute to meeting provincial GHG targets. Eric is a Master of Science (MSc) in Forestry student at University of British Columbia and presented at the PICS 2020 Student Forum.
