Investment managers’ investment choices play an important role in the shift to a low emissions economy.

Private capital investments have an important role in shifting the Canadian and global economies from a reliance on carbon. Investment managers’ investment choices can play an especially important role in accelerating the shift to a net-zero economy and risk reduction. 

The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions is funding research to enhance investment decision-making tools. The project, Integrating Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Considerations into Investment Decisions will focus on integrating new evidence into university curricula and professional training materials.
