Could BC's pulp and paper mills produce hydrogen?
Hydrogen is fast gaining traction among industry and policymakers as a zero-emissions transport fuel and energy source. This PICS-supported pre-feasibility study investigated the potential economic - and climate - benefits of BC pulp and paper mills incorporating hydrogen production (via electrolysis) into their operations.
The research carried out by Zen Clean Energy Solutions on behalf of the BC Bioenergy Network, and released ahead of the pending national hydrogen strategy for Canada.
