Join Student Energy SFU for an engaging event on sustainable energy security and its impact on climate equity, featuring a presentation by Dr. Zafar Adeel, a leading researcher in the field. The session kicks off with an introduction to Student Energy SFU and the importance of sustainable energy for equitable climate solutions. Dr. Adeel will then present his research on the challenges and implications of energy security, particularly for marginalized communities.

After the talk, attendees will participate in an interactive workshop to discuss energy access issues and develop actionable plans in teams. This hands-on session will allow participants to apply insights from Dr. Adeel’s research and collaborate on strategies for affordable and accessible renewable energy.
