Sustainable Food Systems, Biodiversity, Zero Waste, Air Travel, and Engagement are all critical parts of taking climate action on campus–but how do we get involved?
UBC Campus and Community Planning is bringing together students and staff at UBC to explore our collective role in taking climate action on campus, within and beyond CAP2030. Through a short presentation and small group discussions, we will learn about UBC’s Climate Action Plan, discuss institutional and personal barriers to action and co-ideate ways to take climate action together. The event will foster collaboration with climate networks across North America through partnering with the Earth Day Campus Coalition, and is held with the support of PICS.
