Nature of Nature: The metabolic disorder of climate change: connecting food policy, climate policy and biodiversity

November 5 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Dr. Vandana Shiva is a world-renowned environmental activist, intellectual and feminist who has worked in a wide range of fields inspiring change globally. She is a trailblazer who has devoted her life to fighting for the rights of ordinary people of India.

Her talk will focus on the themes she explores in her latest book, Nature of Nature: The metabolic disorder of climate change, connecting food policy, climate policy and biodiversity.

In Nature of Nature, Shiva takes a powerful stand, arguing with urgency and passion for a food and climate future based not on techno-optimism, hallucination, and corporate delusions, but on the natural regeneration of biodiversity in partnership with the biosphere.
